Equipment operation.

The equipment is appointed to  supercritical CO2 extraction of vegetable  materials and other processes using supercritical CO2 in the pressure range of 5 - 80 MPa, extraction temperature 20 - 8 0  C and the circulation rate of CO2 to 60kg/hour ..
 Pressure and temperature in the lines of low, medium and high pressure is controled and displayed by unit, running in automatic mode. Extraction mode - circulating in a closed circuit.
 
During operation, CO2 from the condenser (35) via the valve (5) go to the high pressure compressor (6) and further through the heat exchanger (7) into the extractor (13) and then, through a pressure regulator (17) and heat exchanger (18), - in separator1 (21) where occurs separation of the substances,  dissolved in the supercritical fluid, by the supercritical extract and the solution " CO-2 -  subcritical  extract", that via a pressure regulator (25) and heat exchanger (26) flows into separator2 (30). In separatore2   supercritical CO2 transitions to gaseous state, so takes place separation  "subcritical extract".- CO2-gas. CO2-gas enters the condenser (35) where it is cooled, liquefied   and returned to the CO2 compressor to be recycled.
Loading and unloading of the raw material by using a cassette.
Extracting from separator  the liquid extract is carried out through the drain valve (22) and (31). For extraction of solid or pasty extract,  separators are provided quick-removable  bottom with removable glass.  
  Equipment   tested on vegetable raw materials: - root celandine - extract - alkaloids; - Sunflower seed cake extract - lecithin (phospholipids); etc.
